Dear members & friends:
I have another press release to pass on to you; one of our very active members, Ms. Jeanne Seaver, is hosting a presentation tomorrow afternoon for the proposed Juvenile Assessment Center project. You can read more details about the project via the website, as well as review a short PowerPoint presentation that outlines the specifics of the center. Tomorrow’s meeting will be an educational presentation, demonstrating more details on the workings of the center, and describing the benefits & progress we’ll see in Savannah / Chatham County after its implementation.
Please take the time to review this press release, and be encouraged to attend the meeting, tomorrow at 1:00 at the Coastal Georgia Center, at 305 Fahm Street. The presentation is free and open to the public, and is sure to be a great and informative program, especially for those interested in Juvenile Justice.
Also, please don’t forget to mark your calendars for 5:30 Wednesday evening for the “Scientific Methods for Determining What Works in Crime Prevention seminar, with speaker Dr. Dan Lockwood of Savannah State University. I look forward to seeing all of you there!
Hope you had a great weekend,
Becky
