Why are there so much fussing about rooming houses in Savannah. these are the facts. A large amount of residents in Savannah cannot afford a decent apartment. LOW wages. Savannah has lots of rich people who exploit the poor in the community. Crafty landlords to be blamed. Citizens are paying cash money, cheques, money orders. Peeling paint, rats , roaches, rotten wood, living in rooms next to drug dealers, prostitutes,. Rich people also live in rooming houses. the houses are called vacation hideaway. who are running these houses. Prominent real estate agents here in savannah. Brokers, realtors, managers, churches , ministers. private citizens. Savannah has a large mentally ill citizens , convicts who are exploited everyday. It is called fair housing. Trying to live in this community. Living in close proximity to others , sharing a bathroom, kitchen, with total strangers is just rediculous.Singling out one rooming house as an example is not adequate. take care of all the crooks here in this city. The crime rate will be reduced tremendously.
